The rules of the road, plainly explained. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the terms below.
These terms govern any tour booked with Tuk Tuk Limo Tours, an electric tuk-tuk tour operator based in Madrid and Alicante, Spain. The site you are reading is tuktuklimotours.com. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean Tuk Tuk Limo Tours. When we say "you" we mean the person making the booking and everyone in their group.
Bookings are confirmed once payment is received through our reservation system or in writing by WhatsApp or email. The price quoted is per vehicle, not per person, and includes the driver-guide, the tuk-tuk, fuel (electricity), and any stated commentary in English, Spanish, or French. Vehicles seat up to six guests including small children. Tips are not included and never expected.
Please be at the pickup point five minutes before the tour starts. If you are running late, message us on WhatsApp. We will wait up to fifteen minutes after the start time before treating the booking as a no-show.
Tuk-tuks are open-sided electric vehicles. Guests must remain seated while the vehicle is moving, keep arms and legs inside the cabin, and follow any safety instructions from the driver-guide. Children must be accompanied by an adult. We reserve the right to end a tour without refund if a guest behaves dangerously, is heavily intoxicated, or puts other guests or the driver at risk.
Tours run rain or shine. The tuk-tuk is covered. In extreme weather (storms, heavy snow, declared public emergencies) or where a road we planned to use is closed, we will offer to reschedule the tour at no cost, or refund the booking in full. Decisions are made by the driver-guide on the morning of the tour.
Our full cancellation policy is published on a separate page and forms part of these terms. In summary, you can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before the tour starts. Inside 24 hours bookings are non-refundable but we will always try to reschedule where we can.
Driver-guides sometimes take photos of guests at iconic spots and share them with you afterwards as a gift. We may also use anonymous photos of the tuk-tuk and the city on social media. If you do not want to appear in any photo posted by us, just tell the driver-guide at the start of the tour and we will respect that throughout.
We are responsible for delivering the tour you booked, with reasonable care and professionalism. We are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle, delays caused by traffic, road closures, public events or strikes, third-party services we recommend but do not operate (restaurants, museums, ticketed sites), or loss or damage caused by your own actions.
Our vehicles and operations are insured to the level required by Spanish law. This insurance covers third-party liability and statutory passenger insurance. We recommend that visitors travel with their own travel insurance for medical and personal cover.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us first will be subject to the courts of Madrid or Alicante depending on where the booking originated.
